Byun Chul You - Public Letter to WTF

To the WTF employees led by President Jung Won Choue and Secretary General Jin Suk Yang, we commend you for hard work to lead the world's greatest organization in this TKD world filled gossip and controversies. Especially for your success achieved during the Bejing Olympics.
TKD results in the Bejing Olympics couldn't have included such polar opposite events. Korean competitors won the Gold medal in all 4 weight classes they competed in, even with suffering reputation of "TaeKwon Star" Dae Sung Moon, with just effort he became the first Asian IOC official. All these events were positive, but the controversial judging which led to the attack of the referee should have never occurred. Although I want to say that TKD is not on the verge of getting rid of from the Olympic Games, this is not a refutable fact. Even the President of Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, In Cheon You, admitted on TKD Day that TKD is in "dire situation", and most recently on the 19th, IOC official stated, "within IOC there are TKD, Boxing, Wrestling, in addition to other sports with fighting motives all exist right now. In order for TKD to survive as part of the Olympic Games, serious lobbying is going to be needed".
Even with these problems, WTF will not succumb. WTF continue to promote the Bejing Olympics as the "most successful Olympic event we ever had". Overturning the judges scores was fair and necessary to show the authority of WTF. They compare the Bejing Olympic to the 2006 World Cup when Zidane headbutted the referee, but overall success is what matters.
There is a reason why I am making this letter a public one. Trying my best to understand WTF's viewpoint, I simply cannot comprehend their ideology. No matter what every person or organization with authority bears responsibility. Same goes for the President. People with power need to be humble when there are problems, so that they accept the fact that it is their duty to fix those problems. But for some reason, when there are talks about bearing responsibility, WTF's first reaction is to show "anger".
Okay, let's get into the main point. There can be different analysis of the situation. Also, it is possible that the numerous people who are worried can be all wrong; and WTF's claim can be right. But personally, there is one thing I need to do. I believe the problem relates to WTF's "never admit to a fault, no need to take responsibility, and everything is due to corruption" ideology. As much as I want a reply for the Mookas Media, I personally hope for a reply.
Last May 16th, Mookas Media sent a questionnaire to WTF President Jung Won Choue. We didn't blindly send this letter, but to collaborate with WTF Marketing Department. WTF wanted to setup an interview for WTF President Cho, and Mookas Media responded, "we cannot do an interview just saying President Cho is doing a good job". With that said, WTF declared that as long as MOOKAS MEDIA submits the questionnaire, they guarantee a response. At the time, WTF had many controversial issues they were facing. Please review the letter.

Q. Will you run for the WTF Presidency Election in 2009?
Q. Relating to the problems WTF face, WTF officials claim "no matter what, it is different than the truth. There are people trying to sabotage us". When we ask for evidence, they respond, "inside information". This is why our doubt continues to exist. We would like sufficient proof of documents to prove your point. If it really is "inside information" only, then we promise an embargo. To be honest, within the TKD community, many are complaining about your special relation with your Alma Mater Kyung Hee University. When I asked for evidence, they stated that after your inauguration, 80% of the new employees are all Kyung Hee University Alumni. What is your opinion on this claim?
