'WTF President Campaign Strategy' ready

WTF Vice President Soo Nam Park has mad an official announcement that he will run for WTF Presidency. This early announcement is getting a lot of attention from the public.

Vice President Park's associate said "(Vice President Park) planned to run for next year's election. He has been strategizing his campaign and is still continuing to do so. In my opinion, there no better candidate for the President's position than Park."

During the Beijing Olympic Games, one reporter asked regarding 'his plan to run for WTF Presidency next year' and he replied "yes I am. I am a well qualified Taekwondo practitioner as well. I was a national champion back in 1970 and current I am a certified national referee" and showed confidence towards next year's election.

There's a bit of a history between Park and current WTF President Jung Won Choue. When former WTF Secretary General Dong Hu Moon resigned back in January of 2007, criticism during the process of getting the electronic hogu approved by WTF has been weighed on Park's back alone. For that reason, Park started to distance himself from President Choue. And Choue's disagreement with former President Woon Yong Kim's methods at an early stage of his Presidency soon after his inauguration also bothered Park. With all this said, Park who has received support from Europe is planning to utilize that support for to aid him in next year's election.

Vice President Park's ultimate weapon is his personal relationship he has built. Because he has always been supportive and treated others around him well, his reputation, especially in Europe is almost flawless.

Recently, Vice President Park made a statement "we should not worry about Taekwondo being taken out of the Olympic Games. Our task in hand is to figure out how we can make Taekwondo the top Olympic sport among 28 others" and showed great confidence in Taekwondo's future. In other words, he is confident that if he was to become the next WTF President, he will improve Taekwondo on a bigger scale.
